Tired of clunky software, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools, we created CinePlatform to make professional film and TV production management intuitive, efficient, and scalable.
CinePlatform was born out of frustration with existing production software that was either overly complex or missing critical features.
We saw filmmakers juggling disjointed spreadsheets, scattered documents, and multiple disconnected tools, struggling to keep their productions organised. We wanted a solution that combined script breakdowns, scheduling, call sheets, budgeting, and crew management in one intuitive platform.
By building a tool from the ground up with filmmakers in mind, we deliver a more efficient, feature-rich, and user-friendly alternative to traditional production management platforms, helping creative teams focus on what matters most, making great films.

With over 25 years of experience building enterprise-level systems for government, corporations, and institutions such as the NHS, Christopher Darby combines technical expertise with creative insight to make CinePlatform both powerful and intuitive.
A filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor, he designed CinePlatform to solve real-world production problems that existing tools fail to address. Chris is dedicated to smart, user-focused design, ensuring that our software helps filmmakers plan, schedule, and manage productions efficiently.
